Raspberry gummies carry a moulded surface of small rounded drupelets, following the structure of a real raspberry. This beaded texture is part of what makes the piece read as a berry rather than as a plain red shape. The range covers sugar-sanded raspberries and coated berry builds, with colour and raspberry flavour intensity specified by the buyer against existing moulds.
Coated Builds with a Crunchy Shell
The coated builds add a second surface to the piece. After the gummy centre is formed, it is rolled in nonpareil sugar beads, which adhere to the surface and form a crunchy shell around the chewy centre. Bead size and coverage can be set per project, from a finer, even coating to a heavier crunch.
The Red-and-Black Cluster Look
The berry cluster builds combine red and black pieces with the coated surface, producing the clustered berry appearance. The mixed colours give the pack a varied look, and the coated shell adds a crystalline texture across the pieces. The cluster format is used where a pack should present a full and varied look.
Colour Matching for the Berry Red
The deep red associated with ripe raspberry is part of the product's appearance, and it is matched against an approved reference on finished pieces at the start of each run. Colour depth can be set per specification, so a private label program can work toward its own target shade. Reorders are produced against the approved sample.
