How long does sampling and delivery take?

Samples are issued in about one week; a new mould adds about one more week. Mass production takes 30-45 days after the formula and artwork are confirmed, and repeat orders move faster.

What certifications and audits do you hold?

The factory is HACCP and ISO 22000 certified and FDA-registered. Third-party audits are accepted, and halal production is available for eligible formulations within the certification scope.

What is the shelf life?

Typically 18 months. Store cool and dry, away from direct heat; reefer container shipment can be arranged where the route requires it.

What sizes and builds are available for gummy stars?

Four builds are in production: 5 g classic stars, 5 g yellow stars, 1-2 g multicolored minis and 6 g double-layer stars. Pectin and vegan versions are available on request for yellow stars. Pectin and vegan versions are not available for double-layer stars.

Can this product be made with a vegan formula?

Vegan production is available for selected items in this range. For vegan options, we offer two choices: pectin-based and starch-based formulas, subject to the specific item.

Can you make this product Halal or Kosher?

Yes, we can support Halal-certified and Kosher-certified production for this product.

What special formulas are available for this product?

This product can be developed with gluten-free, high-protein, sugar-free, natural color, and natural flavor options.

The Look of Gummy Stars: Glossy, Sanded Minis, and Double-Layer Builds

A Star in Three Presentations

Gummy stars present a five-pointed star in three presentations: a glossy yellow star with an oiled finish, small multicoloured stars with a sanded surface, and a double-layer star with a coloured top over a white base. The five-pointed outline is what makes each piece read as a star at a glance.

The Double-Layer Build

The double-layer star carries a coloured top over a white base, and the split between the two runs along the side of the piece. Buyers can check the split directly: the coloured top should present as a distinct layer over the white base, with a visible boundary along the edge.

Sanded Minis and the Glossy Star

The multicoloured minis carry a sugar-sanded coating in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple, while the glossy yellow star presents the same outline with a smooth, shiny surface. A program can run the sanded minis and the glossy star together, since both share the five-pointed outline.

Matching the Piece to the Program

Colour and flavour are specified per project. Samples of the glossy, sanded, and double-layer builds can be compared before a specification is fixed, and the five-pointed outline and the layer split can be checked directly on the physical pieces.
